While many of our members in the hotel, healthcare, and food service are still on the frontlines doing essential work, there are thousands of Hawaii workers in the hospitality and service industries that are currently out of work due to COVID-19.
As people take shelter to keep their families safe and prevent the spread of the disease, they are also facing real economic challenges—paying bills, keeping their housing, and feeding their families, among other things.
We set up this hardship fund to offer financial assistance to our members. Together, we will survive this pandemic stronger than ever.
